Synopsis
Uncovering the truth behind the seemingly perfect life portrayed by Jackie’s holiday newsletter
Each year, Jackie sends a holiday newsletter to her friends which portrays her life as practically perfect. Her college friend, Charlotte, has doubts about this seemingly perfect portrayal every year. When Charlotte and her husband visit Jackie's home during Christmas, she sees it as a chance to discover the truth. Although Jackie and her husband welcome them with open arms and festive cheer, Charlotte still suspects that there must be something wrong. Throughout Christmas, she tries to uncover the truth, convinced that no one's life can be that perfect.

Best.Christmas.Ever is a holiday rom-com film directed by Mary Lambert for Netflix. Lambert is best known for her work within the horror genre having directed the original 1989 film Pet Sematary and its sequel in 1992 along with 2005’s Urban Legends: Bloody Mary. She has also directed a number of music videos for some legendary names including Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Mötley Crüe, Janet Jackson and Madonna, just to name a few. She also previously directed another Christmas rom-com for Netflix with A Castle for Christmas. Charles Shyer and Todd Calgi Gallicano wrote the screenplay for Best.Christmas.Ever.
Heather Graham and Brandy Norwood lead the film as two old friends from college, Charlotte and Jackie respectively. Graham is best known for her comedic roles in such titles as Bowfinger, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and The Hangover. Brandy Norwood is a Grammy Award winning artist whose previous film credits include her ‘90s sitcom, Moesha, and 1997’s Cinderella. Jason Biggs, best known for his role in the American Pie franchise, stars as Charlotte’s husband, Rob. Soap opera actor Matt Cedeño portrays Jackie’s husband, Valentino.
