Synopsis
Helen Tasker's marriage becomes more taxing after discovering her husband’s life as a spy
True Lies follows a struggling couple, language professor Helen and technical specialist Harry, whose marriage gradually deteriorates following his constant business trips. After Helen grows suspicious of Harry’s fidelity, she soon learns the truth about her husband’s hidden life – Harry works as an international spy for the U.S. government which ultimately leads to her joining him on his missions. Based on the beloved James Cameron 1994 film of the same name, True Lies follows the crime fighting duo as they must balance their domestic life with their dangerous missions to protect global peace.

True Lies is an action-spy TV show based on the James Cameron-directed film. The show is executive produced by Cameron and airs on CTV. Matt Nix, who specializes in creating espionage-themed TV show such as Burn Notice, The Good Guys, and The Gifted, serves as the creator and writer for the show.
The episodes of True Lies are being directed by Anthony Hemmingway, a well-known filmmaker recognized for his work on popular TV shows such as CSI, True Blood, and Shameless.
The series’ main characters, Harry and Helen Tasker, are portrayed by Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga respectively. Omar Miller, Mike O’Gorman, Annabella Didion, Erica Hernandez, and Lucas Jaye round out the cast.
