Synopsis
A struggling marriage is further complicated when Helen Tasker learns the truth about her spy husband
The first season of True Lies, based on the James Cameron-directed 1994 film, follows Harry, an elite spy working for Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen, a bored language professor who discovers that her seemingly normal husband is living a double life. After being recruited by Omega, Helen joins Harry and his team of highly skilled agents on covert missions around the world, all while keeping their activities a secret from their children. The excitement of their new life adds some much-needed passion to their previously distant relationship, and their involvement shakes up the world of Omega Sector.

James Cameron executive produces this adaptation of his popular 1994 action-comedy
True Lies is an espionage-action TV drama inspired by the action-comedy of the same name directed by Cameron from 1994. The series first aired on CTV and it is created by Matt Nix, who serves as executive producer along with Cameron. Nix is best known for creating similar spy-centric TV shows including The Good Guys, The Gifted and Burn Notice.
Rae Sanchini, McG, Mary Viola, Corey Marsh, and Josh Levy all executive produce the series with Nix and Cameron. Sean Hoagland and Whitney Davis also work as co-executive producers while the series is produced by 20th Television.
Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga play the lead roles of Harry and Helen Tasker respectively. Rounding out the rest of the cast are Omar Miller, Mike O'Gorman, Annabella Didion, Erica Hernandez, and Lucas Jaye.
