Synopsis
Writer Elly Conway finds herself on the hitlist of every famous spy after her novels start predicting reality
Introvert spy novelist Elle Conway and her cat Alfie are pulled into the real world of espionage after her bestselling books start predicting the outcome of real life missions. With the help of an undercover spy, Aiden, Elly manages to narrowly escape getting killed or kidnapped for now, but the writer will need the same courage and stealth as her characters to leave her foes behind for good.

Argylle is a spy-action comedy produced by Apple Original Films, Marv Studios, and Cloudy Productions for Universal Pictures. The movie is directed by Matthew Vaughn who is best known for directing X-Men First Class, and Kick-Ass. The film is based on a screenplay written by Jason Fuchas, the writer responsible for writing Ice Age: Continental Drift, Pan, and Wonder Woman.
The movie features a star studded ensemble with Henry Cavill donning the titular role of the spy Argylle. Bryce Dallas Howard plays the role of the bestselling author Elle Conway. The wider cast includes Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Samuel L Jackson, John Cena, and Catherine O' Hara. Matthew Vaughn's personal cat Chip plays the role of Elle's beloved feline companion. Director Matthew decided to cast his own personal cat after a professional cat actor caused havoc on the first day of filming.
