The Spengler family move to New York and team up with the original Ghostbusters at their top secret firehouse where they research about ghostbusting. GhostBusters: Frozen Empire is a supernatural comedy film. The movie is the fourth addition to the cult famous Ghostbusters franchise, and is a direct sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The movie is directed by Gil Kenan who is best known for directing the animated supernatural film Monster House. He is also responsible for co-writing the screenplay of the film alongside Jason Reitman, who directed the previous film. The movie is co-produced by Jason Reitman and Jason Blumenfeld, and the duo have retained Eric Steelberg to handle the cinematography for the movie.
The movie stars Paul Rudd as Gary Gooberson. He is joined by Carrie Coon playing the role of Callie Spengler. Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things reprises his role as Trevor Spengler, with Mckenna Grace starring as Phoebe Spengler. Patton Oswald, Celeste O' Connor, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Bill Murray, Kumail Nanjiani, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind round out the rest of the cast.
