A couple tries to attain their larger-than-life dreams amidst harsh challenges from society.

Blending social realism with fairy-tale aspirations, an inter-faith working-class couple is forced to confront harsh realities such as social unrest and religious tensions as they earnestly attempt to carve out a respectable life for themselves in the city of Kolkata. Things get harder when their love and commitment to each other are tested amidst the chaos and misinformation.
