In the twelfth year of the Tianbao era during the Tang dynasty, demons lurk in the shadows. Young Kong Hongjun, unfamiliar with the ways of the world, departs from the Yaojin Palace on Taihang Mountain, tasked with three important missions. Arriving in the bustling city of Chang'an, he joins the Great Tang Exorcist Department, led by Li Jinglong, a former general of the Longwu Army. Together, they form an exorcism team to combat the demonic threats, gradually uncovering a vast conspiracy that endangers the empire. As they delve deeper, their bond strengthens, and they face challenges that test their resolve and unity.
