Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D (2008)

The story follows Trevor Anderson (played by Brendan Fraser), a volcanologist whose scientific theories are often dismissed by the academic community. When Trevor's teenage nephew, Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson), comes to visit, they discover an old book and a set of notes left by Trevor’s missing brother, Max. These clues hint at the possibility that Jules Verne's fantastical writings might not just be fiction.
