Even doctors are not infallible. During a dramatic rescue operation at the Wilder Kaiser, mountain doctor Martin Gruber makes a momentous mistake. The young patient, who is just about Lilli's age, dies. After this, Martin Gruber retreats to a remote mountain hut. But he cannot escape from himself. Even in seclusion, his medical talent does not remain a secret for long. Martin is soon called upon to help. And doesn't he have to, really? After all, he has sworn an oath. Life goes on and people are waiting for him in Ellmau.
