Chris Stuckmann is widely considered one of the most popular film critics on YouTube. He is the host of “Chris Stuckmann's Movie Reviews" (2011–) and the spinoff show “Chris Stuckmann’s Hilariocity Reviews” (2013–2020). He is the writer, producer, editor, and director of three short films: “Julia” (2013), “Auditorium 6” (2017), and “Notes from Melanie” (2019). While he has two homemade feature films to his name—“Phenomenon Field” (2003) and “The Woods” (2005)—he did not make his full directorial debut until writing and directing the supernatural horror “Shelby Oaks” (2025).
