Synopsis
Mercenary Tyler Rake returns for another high-stakes mission
After narrowly escaping death in the first film, Australian covert military trained operative Tyler Rake is back for another perilous mission. He is tasked with extracting a cruel Georgian criminal’s family, who are being held captive in one of the world’s deadliest prisons. At the same time, Tyler is being hunted by a vengeful criminal desperate for retribution.

Chris Hemsworth stars in Extraction sequel
Extraction 2 is a Netflix action-thriller film. Based on Ciudad, a graphic novel written by Ande Parks, Fernando León González, Eric Skillman and Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is a sequel to Extraction. The film is directed by Sam Hargrave and produced by the Russo Brothers and Chris Hemsworth. Hemsworth and the Russo Brothers have previously collaborated on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as former SASR operative turned mercenary Tyler Rake. Golshifteh Farahani returns to play Nik Khan, and Adam Bessa returns as Yaz Khan. Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili join the main cast for the second film.
