Frankenstein is an upcoming horror science fiction film on Netflix. Frankenstein is written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, an Academy Award winning filmmaker who is famous for his horror adaptations for fairy tales and mythical stories. He has directed films such as The Shape of Water, Pinocchio and Nightmare Alley. The film is based on Mary Shelley’s literary classic of the same name, and is produced by del Toro, Gary Ungar and J. Miles Dale.
Oscar Isaac stars in Frankenstein as the titular Victor Frankenstein, a mad scientist intent on bringing the dead back to life. Jacob Elordi co-stars as the Monster, Frankenstein’s creation. The cast features Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery and Charles Dance.
