Synopsis
The demon Valak is back again
Set in the 1950s, four years after the fateful events in Romania, Sister Irene must once again confront the vicious soul-possessing Valak. Upon hearing whispers of a murdered French priest, Irene knows that evil has returned and she must face Valak once more. Sister Irene must protect the people who are at risk for possession by dark and dangerous evil demon.

Horror heavyweights James Wan and Peter Safran produce The Nun sequel
The Nun 2 is a supernatural horror film and the ninth instalment in the Conjuring Universe Franchise. The Nun 2 is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and co-produced by horror veterans Aussie James Wan (Saw, Furious 7) and Peter Safran (Annabelle, Shazam!). The film is a direct sequel to The Nun and is directed by Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), with a screenplay from Akela Cooper (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds)
Taissa Farmiga returns as Sister Irene, and Bonnie Aarons plays the Valak. Returning as Frenchie, Jonas Bloquet also features in the sequel, alongside Anna Popplewell and Storm Reid.
