Synopsis
A haunted machine plays a song before destroying itself
In this six-minute 1969 animated short by Walerian Borowczyk, a phonograph mysteriously assembles itself, plays haunting music from wax drums, then self-destructs, leaving an eerie silence. It’s a mesmerising, poetic glimpse into obsession, memory, and the fragile nature of mechanical life - lasting just long enough to echo in your mind.
