Synopsis

Discover the origins of Panem's tyrannical leader 64 years before Katniss Everdeen

Before he became the oppressive leader of Panem, Coriolanus Snow was an 18-year-old who represented the last chance for his family's reputation to be restored. However, his hope dwindles as he is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute from the impoverished District 12 for the 10th annual Hunger Games. Lucy Gray's defiant act of singing during the reaping ceremony draws attention, and Snow sees an opportunity to turn the odds in their favour. As the competition progresses, so does his thirst for power.
