What to know

Westworld creators helm television adaptation of popular video game series, Fallout

Fallout is an upcoming post-apocalyptic drama TV series developed by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan for Prime Video. It is based on the successful video game franchise of the same name from Black Isle Studios. Joy and Nolan are best known for creating the HBO series Westworld which ran for four seasons. The duo serve as the lead writers of Fallout while Todd Howard, a producer at Bethesda Game Studios who has directed multiple games in the series, serves as an executive producer along with Joy and Nolan. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the showrunners for the series following their previous work on Captain Marvel and Portlandia respectively.

Ella Purnell leads the series along with Walton Goggins. Purnell has previously appeared in Yellowjackets and Arcane. Goggins is best known for his roles in Justified and The Shield. Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Aaron Moten, Mike Doyle and Moisés Arias round out the cast.
