How to watch the Avengers movies in order
Much like most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and TV shows, the Avengers movies can be fortunately watched in the same order as their release date.

The first Avengers movie was the MCU’s first ensemble-driven adventure and featured six Avengers uniting to fight against the Asgardian demigod Loki’s forces. In Age of Ultron, the teamcount was increased with new additions like siblings Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as they take down the titular villain Ultron, the sentient Artificial Intelligence created by occasional team leader Tony Stark (Iron Man).
The last two Avengers movies were monumental chapters in the franchise as they concluded Marvel’s Infinity Saga with a multitude of Avengers teaming up across different dimensions and timelines to prevent the Mad Titan Thanos from wielding the universe-altering Infinity Gauntlet.
While the first two Avengers movies can still be watched as standalone movies with some background context, Infinity War and Endgame are directly interconnected with the former ending on an open-ended conclusion that the latter resolved a year later.
Will there be any more Avengers movies in the future?
While Endgame marked the retirement of Captain America and Iron Man, the legacy of Avengers carries on with the other members and many new recruits in future MCU chapters. These threads will hopefully be joined together for another Thanos-like universal threat in Avengers: 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars. Both movies are expected to release subsequently in 2026 and 2027 respectively.
