5 Movies and TV Shows arriving on OTT this week 

  1. Sex Education Season 4 (Releasing 21st September) 

The latest season of the popular British teen sex-comedy drama, Sex Education, arrives on Netflix on 21st September 2023. The fourth and final season of the series will see Maeve move to her dream school all the way to the USA, and follow Otis and Maeve as they navigate the complexities of a long-distance relationship. A whole new school also means a whole new lineup of characters. One of the most exciting new cast additions include Dan Levy aka David from Schitts Creek, as one of Maeve’s new American professors.

  1. Jaane Jaan (Releasing 21st September)

This weekend is special as it marks the streaming debut for one of Bollywood’s biggest actors, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Starring alongside OTT veteran Vijay Varma, ‘Jaane Jaan’ is an exciting crime-thriller about a housewife/singer who finds herself getting pulled deeper and deeper into a murder investigation. This pulsating crime-thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh is based on a popular Japanese book titled The Devotion of Suspect X.

  1. The Continental (Releasing 22nd September) 

Latest from the world of John Wick, The Continental, is a crime-action thriller miniseries set in early to mid 1970’s. The show serves as a prequel to the John Wick storyline and explores the background story of Winston Scott, and how he built his massive hotel empire. Starring Mel Gibson and Colin Woodell as the lead characters this series promises an intriguing storyline, star studded ensemble, and hopefully some exciting easter eggs.

  1. Love Again (Released 20th September) 

Weren’t able to catch Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ latest rom-com Love Again in theaters? Don’t worry, it just released on Amazon Prime Video. Priyanka stars as Mira, a grieving girlfriend who finds a second shot at love after receiving texts back from her dead boyfriend's phone number. This out of the box romantic-comedy features cameos from Celine Dion and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ husband Nick Jonas.

Where to watch: Love Again is available in both Hindi and English on Netflix India. 

  1. Spy Kids: Armageddon (Releasing 22nd September) 

Looking for a fun film to watch with the entire family before the weekend ends? Catch the latest addition to the cutest spy film franchise: Spy Kids. The new film is about two kids who accidentally aid an evil game developer release a game that’ll brainwash the whole world. To undo what they’ve done, the kids must now wear their parents' spy gear and dive headfirst into the gamemaster’s high-tech world to save the day.

Arriving on 22nd September on Amazon we have Cassandro, an inspirational real-life story about how an amateur homosexual wrestler rose to stardom, and his triumphs and tribulations along the way, and Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, the war time film about a local interpreter who risks his life to save an American soldier from the line of fire, previously only available on a rent/buy feature, the film will be a part of Amazon’s general subscription library from 22nd September. 

What’s new on Disney+ Hotstar this week 

It’s a week full of screams and thrills here on Disney+ Hotstar this week. Arriving on Sunday we have the spooky horror flick No One Will Save You, a story about an angsty anxiety ridden teenage girl who’s forced to battle a strange alien out of her home, next, there’s also a crime-thriller titled The Worst of Evil, an upcoming K-drama about a mafia crime syndicate.

In the mood to go to the movies? With a whole new lineup of domestic films gracing the screens this weekend, there’s enough options to keep you at the cinemas all weekend.
