Sandeep Reddy Vanga teams up with Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol for his dark gangster drama
Animal is an action-thriller film. The movie is co-written, directed, and edited by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the maker of Arjun Reddy. The film is produced under the banner of T-Series with Bhushan and Krishan Kumar as the leading producers. Veteran Bollywood cinematographer Amit Roy handles the cinematography for the film.
The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role of Animal. This movie marks the first time Ranbir will be portraying the role of a gangster in a Bollywood film. Anil Kapoor is cast to play the role of Balbir Singh, his estranged father. South superstar Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Ranbir's love interest, Geetanjali Singh. Bobby Deol is also cast in an undisclosed role. In addition to this the cast also features Prem Chopra, Tripti Dimiri, Suresh Oberoi, Ravi Gupta, and Siddhant Karnick in undisclosed supporting roles.
