An adolescent tale of Adele, an introverted timid teenager who ends her relationship with a boy right after losing her virginity. Confused about her sexual identity, her world gets knocked sideways when Emma, an ambitious, sophisticated painter enters her life. They enter into an intimate relationship and Emma allows her to experience desire, passion and to assert herself as a woman.
