Synopsis
A religious bhakt seeks divine intervention to fight for systematic change in Oh My God 2
Krishnakant Tiwari aka Lord Shiva visits Earth after one of his most loyal devotees Kanti prays for guidance from a higher power to help him deal with the death of a closed one. Pankaj Tripathi teams up with Akshay Kumar for Oh My God 2
Oh My God 2 is a Hindi satirical comedy-drama, which serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Oh My God. The film is written and directed by Amit Rai, the director behind the 2010 award-winning film Road to Sangam, and is jointly produced under the banner of Viacom18 Studios, Wakaoo Films, and Cape of Good Films. The upcoming movie reportedly has a budget of 150 crores, this is over 90 crores more than its predecessor.
OMG 2 features a star-studded ensemble with Akshay Kumar reprising his iconic role as god. He is joined by Pankaj Tripathi as the second lead Kanti Sharan Mudgal. Yami Gautam, Govind Namdev, and Arun Govill round out the rest of the cast.
