Crime drama depicting the true events of Natascha Kampusch’s abduction and imprisonment for eight years

While on her way to school, Natascha Kampusch is dragged into a car by a man and taken to his home, where she’s installed in his underground bunker. The door is concealed behind a cupboard, and police are unsuccessful in their search for her, despite questioning her kidnapper Wolfgang Přiklopil. There she stays for the next eight years, manipulated and assaulted by Wolfgang, as she tries to find opportunities to escape.
