Frank and Huey are two tabloid journalists investigating what they imagine to be a bogus claim: that the angel Michael is living with an old woman in a small town in Iowa. They go to see him alongside angel expert Dorothy, and together they drive back to Chicago. While at first, Michael seems like the opposite of what they’d imagine an angel to be, as he speaks to them about faith, relationships, and love, they start to believe he may very well be from another realm.
