Synopsis
A local rock band in 1990s Kansas City embark on a cross-country road trip after getting a call asking them to open for Green Day in Los Angeles in three days
In 1990s Kansas City, Tommy and his local rock band leave a demo tape with their idols, Green Day, when they come to town. When they get a call back, asking them to open for Green Day on New Year’s eve in Los Angeles, the group head out on a wild road trip across the United States to get there in time.
