Twisters is an upcoming disaster film produced by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. The film is a sequel to 1996’s Twister, starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. Twisters is directed by Lee Isaac Chung, whose previous works include the Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated Minari, Munyurangabo, and an episode in the third season of The Mandalorian. The screenplay is written by Mark L Smith, who is known for co-writing The Revenant.
Twisters stars Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones. She is joined in the leading cast by Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos. Other cast members include Daryl McCormack, Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, David Corenswet, Sasha Lane, and Kiernan Shipka, amongst others.
