Synopsis
An elderly widow receives an robot helper from her son
In 2029, Sue receives a secondhand AnnDroid, a robot that can conduct basic elderly care, from her son, Michael, before he moves out in an attempt to save his marriage. Some 18 months previously, Sue’s husband passed away, and although she has been grieving and lonely, the addition of the robot—whom she names Linda—comes with a host of unexpected and often awkward surprises.
