Synopsis
A man uses alchemy to create homunculi that help him solve the mystery of his girlfriend’s disappearance seven years earlier
Michael is an aging man living alone in a messy home outside of Manchester. Grumpy and lonely, Michael spends his time working at a DIY shop and visiting his senile father in a retirement home. When his father suggests he dabble in alchemy, Michael decides to use his garden shed to create prophetic creatures known as “homunculi” in his garden shed, in order to finally discover what happened to his girlfriend, after she disappeared seven years previously.
