Come for the ridiculous number of A-list cameos that are actually fun to watch and not just a gratuitous pat on the back. The Studio takes every opportunity it can to be funny about film, so if you know your stuff there are Easter eggs everywhere. If you don't, it's still a laugh riot about the cynicism and the craziness of Hollywood. The real gold is in the cameos, where big names play versions of themselves that allow them, we suspect, to blow off steam by taking a swing at the most pretentious and plain ridiculous goings-on in the industry, some of which the stars themselves might be guilty of. You'll splutter in happy disbelief as heavyweights like Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard and Steve Buscemi cut loose.

We’ve probably all sat there and wondered what on Earth is going through studio executive heads with some of the movie releases we get every year. Now, thanks to the comic genius of Seth Rogen and an endearing and infuriating ensemble cast we can finally get inside the head of those behind the scenes in Hollywood with The Studio. Not only is this TV show hilarious, it's highly relevant in the day and age of streaming wars and limited theatrical releases. It’s very much a TV show for cinephiles, but even those with a passing interest in the film industry will have hours of fun with The Studio.
