An actor of screen and stage, Valerio Mastandrea got his breakthrough role in the movie “Palermo – Milan One Way” (1995). He went on to star in the comedies “We All Fall Down” (1997), “The Scent of the Night” (1998), and “Maximum Velocity "V-Max” (2002). Mastandrea starred in “Napoleon and Me” (2006), “The First Beautiful Thing” (2010), and “Dry” (2022), all from director Paolo Virzi. Some of his standout performances include “Balancing Act” (2012), “Long Live Freedom” (2013), and “There’s Still Tomorrow” (2023). Mastandrea was the star and screenwriter of “The Landlords” (2012) and made his directorial debut with “Ride” (2018), following it up with “Feeling Better” (2024). He starred alongside Willem Dafoe in “Pasolini” (2014) and had a voice acting role in the animated Italian comedy series “Tear Along the Dotted Line” (2021).
