Season 1 has a focus on Yuji Itadori after he encounters a dangerous cursed object with his friends in a school occult club. In an attempt to rescue them, he ends up eating the cursed object known as Sukuna’s finger - one of the 20 remaining fingers of the ancient and original curse. Itadori surprisingly proves that he can withstand the power of the curse and becomes a viable host which seals his fate and death. His mission now is to collect all of Sukuna’s fingers, consume them, and muster his strength to protect the ones he loves from the cursed and himself.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is an anime television series based on the manga of the same name. Season 2 picks up where season 1 ended and promises to answer many of the open questions from the previous episodes. It is produced by renowned anime production company MAPPA and is directed by Shota Goshozono. Tadashi Hiramatsu returns as character designer for the series alongside Sayaka Koiso. Yoshimasa Terui returns as composer for the series. Voice actor Yuichi Nakamura plays Saturo Gojo and Junya Enoki voices Yuji Itadori.
