Synopsis
Looking for a fresh start, Jack Dawkins must decide whether he still wants to be The Artful Dodger
Jack Dawkins, a surgeon, arrives in Australia in the 1850s. He’s ready for a fresh start in his new home at Port Victory, but a visitor from his past reveals his true identity as The Artful Dodger. Reunited with Fagin, the two quickly return to their scheming ways, while love is on the horizon for Jack as he meets Lady Belle Fox, the first female surgeon in the colony.

The Artful Dodger is a Disney+ drama series based on the Charles Dickens classic novel, ‘Oliver Twist’. The show is created by James McNamara, David Maher and David Taylor and produced by Beach Road Pictures, Curio Pictures and Sony Pictures Television. The series is directed by Corrie Chen, Gracie Otto and Jeffrey Walker.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones, The Maze Runner) leads the cast as The Artful Dodger, alongside co-star David Thewlis (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) as Fagin. Australian actress Maia Mitchell stars as Lady Belle Fox. Miranda Tapsell, Damon Herriman, Susie Porter, Huw Higginson, Damien Garvey, Andrea Demetriade, Jessica De Gouw, Kym Gyngell and Luke Carroll are all part of the supporting cast along with singer, songwriter and comedian Tim Minchin.
