Core Web Vitals at JustWatch

We always try our hardest at JustWatch to provide our users with the best experience we can. In the past year, with implementation of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), a LOT of monitoring was involved. We specifically focused on optimizing our Core Web Vitals, both for our users, but also to improve our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) rankings.
Max, a frontend engineer in our SEO department, takes us through the 3 components of Core Web Vitals, and how we optimized each metric. This isn’t something that is ever ‘finished’ - there’s always monitoring and optimization happening here to make sure we can get the best experience we can, and make sure JustWatch is shown at the top of a Google search.
