"The Governor's Wife" follows former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards and his 34-year-old wife, Trina, as they redefine a "new normal" in the new South. Edwin Edwards, now 85 years old and still dubbed the "King of Louisiana," shocked the state (and his family) when he married Trina Grimes Scott, a woman 50 years his junior.
