Synopsis
The series centers on Michael Payton, a skilled getaway driver for the Outfit. After being apprehended during a heist, Payton undergoes a radical procedure: his memory is erased, and he is given a new identity as Joe Astor, a law-abiding officer for MetroPol, the city's police force. Unaware of his criminal past, Astor becomes the sole driver capable of handling the Defender.
