Synopsis
Two opposite elements collide and find a whole new meaning to life in Pixar’s upcoming film Elemental
Wade & Ember, two elements from the opposite end of the spectrum open the door to a whole new world when they break the one sacred rule of their universe, ‘Elements don’t mix.’ This heartwarming Pixar love story between fire and water explores how opposites attract and react when they begin to embrace each other’s differences.

From Peter Sohn of Good Dinosaur fame comes another touching Pixar story- Elemental
Elemental is an animated film by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studio. This is the 27th film produced by the studio.
The upcoming animated film is directed by Peter Sohn, who also directed The Good Dinosaur in 2015. The film is inspired by Sohn’s personal background of navigating life in Bronx, New York after moving as an immigrant from Korea. His multi-cultural background gave him the initial idea for creating a film that explored the themes of a city where elements live side-by-side in their individual colonies.
Disney veteran Denise Ream serves as the producer for the upcoming film, while the movie’s dreamy music is owed to the genius of composer Thomas Newman.
The film’s voice cast is led by Leah Lewis as the fiery Ember Lumen, and Mamoudou Athie as the chilled out rulebreaker Wade Ripple. Joining them are actors Ronnie del Carmen, Shila Ommi, Mason Wertheimer, Wandi McLendon-Covey, Catherine O'Hara, Joe Pera, Matt Yang King and Innocent Ekakitie.
