Synopsis
An astrophysicist risks the entire planet after opening the doors to multidimensional chaos
Ye Wenjie, a Chinese astrophysicist living in the 1960's unearths the door to multidimensional realities after losing her father to a violent murder. Living her life captive under the rule of the military, she breaks the barrier of time and space and begins communicating with people from the present day.

D.B Weiss and David Benioff, the makers of Game of Thrones adapt Liu Cixin's bestselling sci-fi trilogy to a series
3 Body Problem is a science fiction series created by D.B Weiss, David Benioff, and Alexander Woo for Netflix. Weiss and David are the same duo responsible for creating the hit HBO drama Game of Thrones. This sci-fi series is based a bestselling science fiction trilogy written by Chinese author Liu Cixin. This is the second time these novels are being attempted to adapt to screen. The trilogy was originally due to release as a Chinese movie in 2015, however, the film never made it to screen.
The show stars Saamer Usmani as Raj Varma, and Jess Hong as Jin Cheng. Jovan Adepo plays the role of Saul Durand, while Sea Shimooka stars as Sophon. Zine Tseng is cast as the young Ye Wnjie, while Rosalind Chao is confirmed to play the grown up Ye. Benedict Wong, John Bradley, Eliza Gonzalez, Liam Cunningham, Thomas Wade, and Jonathan Pryce complete the rest of the cast.
