My Life With the Walter Boys is a young adult romantic-drama series based on a 2014 Wattpad novel of the same name written by Ali Novak. Writer Ali Novak has collaborated with showrunner Melanie Halsall to bring the screenplay of the first season to life. Showrunner and co-writer Melanie Halsall also serves as the executive producer for the show alongside Ed Glauser, known for producing The Kissing Booth. The show is directed by Jerry Ciccoritti, Winnifred Jong, and Nimisha Mukerji.
Nikki Rodriguez plays the role of Jackie Howard, the parentless teenager. Sarah Rafferty (Suits), and actor Mark Blucas (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) play the roles of Katherine and George Walter, Jackie's new guardians. Ashby Gentry and NoahLeLonde star as Alex and Cole Walters, Jackie's two love interests. Ashley Holliday, Jaylan Evans, Connar Stanhope, Zoe Soul, Moheb Jindran, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Johnny Link, Alisha Newton, Ellie O'Brien, Dean Petriw, Lennix James, and Alex West Lefler complete the rest of the ensemble.
