Synopsis
A Muslim refugee family are relocated to a house in Lahore, only to discover an elderly Hindu woman living there
After the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan, a family of Muslim refugees escaping flooding in India are allotted a house in Lahore. But when they arrive, they discover an elderly Hindu woman, Mai, is still living in what she says is her family’s ancestral home. Can they live together, or how can they decide who gets to stay?
