Synopsis
In a world of enforced productivity, an elderly woman helps other elderly people relocate to remote villages in the Amazons
In a not-so-distant future in Brazil, productivity is considered the most important virtue, and is enforced by the government. But the 77-year-old Tereza decides not to comply, and begins helping the elderly relocate to remote areas in the Amazons. As she embarks on a journey of freedom and rebellion, she becomes a government target and a symbol for resistance and dignity in the face of aging and adversity.
