Synopsis

BAFTA Award-winning actor Andrew Garfield stars in season 1 of Brideshead Revisited as Charles Ryder. Centering on a wealthy Catholic family residing in Brideshead Castle, the story follows two turbulent decades in Charles’ life – from the 1920s until the late 1940s.

Brideshead Revisited is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Evelyn Waugh. The complete title of the acclaimed novel is Brideshead Revisited, The Sacred & Profane Memories of Captain Charles Ryder. Previous adaptations of the novel include a 1981 TV series and a feature film that was released in 2008.
