The Summer I Turned Pretty - Season 3

Jenny Han returns to adapt the third season of her hit Amazon coming-of-age series

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 is the upcoming third season in Amazon Prime Video’s coming-of-age series. The series is created by young adult author Jenny Han, who also wrote the books behind Netflix’s To All The Boys series. Han wrote the Summer trilogy, including The Summer I Turned Pretty (2009), It's Not Summer Without You (2010), and We’ll Always Have Summer (2011), on which the series is based. The third season should follow the events of the final book, We’ll Always Have Summer, although some key parts of the books are shifted to update the material for modern audiences.

Returning for the third season are Lola Tung as Isabel ‘Belly’ Conklin, the series’ teenage protagonist, and Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno as her two love interests, Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. Jackie Chung returns as Belly’s mother Laurel Park, as does Sean Kaufman as Steven, Belly’s older brother. Other cast members likely to return for season 3 include Alfredo Narciso, Colin Ferguson, Tom Everett Scott, David Iacono, Rain Spencer, and season 2 newcomers Kyra Sedgwick and Elsie Fisher.
