After four youngsters make an incredible discovery on their home planet, they find themselves lost and far away from home. They meet both friends and foes as they journey through the wonders and perils of the galaxy far, far away as they try to get home.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is an upcoming coming-of-age sci-fi adventure series produced by Disney. The series takes place within the Star Wars universe at the same point in time as The Mandalorian and follows the story of a group of four youngsters trying to find their way home while being guided by a Jedi Master. It is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filioni — who collaborated together on The Mandalorian and The Book of Bobba Fett — alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Jon Watts, and Chis Ford. The latter two create the series, after previously collaborating together on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Other directors helming episodes in the series include the Daniels (Everything, Everywhere, All at Once), David Lowery (The Green Knight), Lee Isaac Chung, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jake Schreier.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew stars Jude Law as a Jedi in the series. The four youngsters trying to find their way home are played by Robert Timothy Smith, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Ravi Cabot Conyers. They are joined along the way by Kerry Condon, Kyiana Kratter, and musician Tunde Adebimpe, amongst others.
The first season of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will premiere on Disney+ around Christmas 2024.
