In 1980s Birmingham, a group of young, restless artists come together to form a Two-Tone band against the backdrop of a city and neighbourhood caught in a cycle of violence and chaos.

This Town is a drama series produced for BBC One. The series is created by Steven Knight, who is known for his hit crime-drama series Peaky Blinders and for writing the screenplay for Eastern Promises. The music featured in This Town is written by Kae Tempest and Dan Carey. The two previously worked together on Tempest’s celebrated debut album Everybody Down.
This Town stars Levi Brown as Dante Williams, the band’s lead songwriter. Jordan Bolger joins as Dante’s brother, Gregory, and Ben Rose as Bardon Quinn, the band’s lead singer, while Eve Austin plays one of the band’s lead musicians, Jeannie Keefe. Other notable cast members include Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Nicholas Pinnock, and David Dawson.
