As the preeminent action star of multiple decades, Arnold Schwarzenegger really needs no introduction. But we’ll give him one anyway. After a successful career in bodybuilding, including multiple wins as Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia, Schwarzenegger moved to acting. His first role was in the cult classic “Hercules in New York” (1969), but he became a household name thanks to gigantic hits like “Conan the Barbarian” (1982), “The Terminator” (1984), and “Predator” (1987). Much like the characters he played on-screen, Schwarzenegger was unstoppable in the ‘90s, starring in huge blockbusters like “Kindergarten Cop” (1990), “Total Recall” (1990), “True Lies” (1994), and “Jingle All The Way” (1996). After taking a break from acting to serve as the Governor of California, Schwarzenegger returned to Hollywood, appearing in a cavalcade of projects including the “Expendables” and “Terminator” franchises, the more toned-down zombie film “Maggie” (2015), and in the Netflix action comedy series “Fubar” (2023).
