Synopsis
Some of the world’s most historic and impactful decisions have happened in the East Wing of the White House. As the long-running office for America’s First Lady, what happens in the East Wing has been hidden from view. The First Lady follows these critical decisions as they happened.The TV show is an anthology series created by Aaron Cooley. Season 1 features Academy Award-winner Viola Davis as First Lady Michelle Obama and O. T. Fagbenle as President Barack Obama. They are also played by Jayme Lawson and Julian De Niro as younger versions of the couple. Davis previously won the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in 2016 for her performance in Fences.
