The success of actress Cristin Milioti did not happen overnight. It all began in the early 2000s with small roles in huge TV shows like “The Sopranos” (2006–2007), “The Good Wife” (2010), and comedy classic “30 Rock” (2011). From there, Milioti bagged an important role in Martin Scorsese’s wild retelling of the life of Jordan Belfort, “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013), where she played Belfort’s first wife before Margot Robbie’s Naomi came along and spoiled the party. After that, Milioti was given more screen time on TV, with a 25-episode run in “How I Met Your Mother” (2013–2014) and recurring roles in “Fargo” (2015), “The Venture Bros.” (2016–2018) and “No Activity” (2018). However, it was the superb time-loop love story, “Palm Springs” (2020), that really made Cristin Milioti a household name. Her chemistry with Andy Samberg in that beloved comedy movie thrilled audiences, but she would go on to terrify us all in her role as the menacing mafia boss, Sofia Falcone, in “The Penguin” (2024), which won Milioti an Emmy Award.
