Zach Lipovsky was first discovered as a finalist on Steven Spielberg’s reality show “On the Lot” (2007), which showcased emerging filmmakers. From there, he leapt into directing with films like“Leprechaun: Origins” (2014), which was a reboot of the classic Leprechaun franchise, and “Dead Rising: Watchtower” (2015), which is based on the hit video game. Teaming up with frequent collaborator Adam B. Stein, he co-directed the sci-fi family tale “Freaks” (2018), which they followed up with a somewhat wild departure in Disney Channel’s story “Kim Possible” (2019). In his latest collab with Stein, Lipovsky returns to horror with “Final Destination: Bloodlines” (2025), the latest entry in the iconic horror franchise—proving that even Death can't keep a good director down.
