As the Straw Hats enter the Grand Line, they find themselves in a world of danger as they come across the formidable Baroque Works crime syndicate.
One Piece season 2 is the upcoming season of Netflix's fantasy-adventure TV series developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda. It serves as the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's iconic manga series. The anime series remains one of the longest-running of all-time, airing over 1,000 episodes since 1999.
The second season will follow the Straw Hats as they journey across the four Blues aboard the Going Merry. Not everything is fun and games, however, as they encounter the dangerous crew of the Baroque Works syndicate.
Eiichiro Oda remains a creative consultant on the second season. Percy Jackson and the Olympians writer and A Series of Unfortunate Events story editor Joe Tracz joins the series as co-showrunner, writer and executive producer alongside Matt Owens. While Steven Maeda stepped down from showrunning duties, he remains as executive producer on the series.
One Piece season 2's cast features Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Vincent Regan as Vice Admiral Garp, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Jeff Ward as Buggy the Clown, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
The supporting cast includes Callum Kerr (Monarch) as Smoker, Julia Rehwald (Fear Street) as Tashigi, Rob Colletti (The Many Saints of Newark) as Wapol and Ty Keogh (24 Hours to Live) as Dalton.
The Baroque Works group is portrayed by David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer) as Mr. 3, Daniel Lasker (Raised by Wolves) as Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson (Batwoman) as Mr. 5 and Jazzara Jaslyn (Warrior) as Miss Valentine.
