Synopsis
The story of a brave damsel who puts on a shining armor to rescue herself from distress
A young and dutiful damsel finds herself in trouble after being married off to a handsome prince who uses her as collateral to pay off an old family debt. Left alone at the steps of a dark dungeon, this poor damsel must find a way to escape or face the wrath of a fiery dragon.

Damsel is a dark fantasy movie produced Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum for Netflix. The movie is written by Dan Mazeau, and directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. The film stars Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown in the titular role of Eloide (The Damsel.) Emmy Award Winning actor Angela Bassett stars as Lady Bayford. (Eloide's stepmother.) Robin Wright plays the role of the Queen, with Ray Winstone joining her for the role of the King. Nick Robinson stars as Prince Harry, and Brooke Carter completes the family by playing the role of his younger sister, Floria.
