Set centuries before the events of Kantara, the story follows the powerful Kadamba kingdom as it attempts to expand its rule over a sacred forest protected by an ancient pact with the forest deity Panjurli

Long before modern borders existed, the forest was ruled by gods, not kings. When an ambitious monarch attempts to seize the land for its resources, the tribal community is pushed to the brink. Their last hope rests on a young man believed to be touched by Panjurli. As he undergoes rigorous rituals and tests of faith, a violent uprising brews that ends in a mythic confrontation fuelled by faith, fear and the unyielding rage of the deity.
